Hard Candy cosmetics is exclusive to Walmart and has been in that store for quite some time now. The popular bronzer in Tiki has always caught my eye, but I am not much of a shimmering bronzer fan so I never picked it up. After seeing a review recently about Tiki, I realized the color is much lighter and does not come out as a bronzer at all. I decided to give it a try and did a comparison for you.
A new line of cosmetics came out exclusively at Walmart called Flower Beauty. It is a line by Drew Barrymore. This collection consists of nail polishes, lipglosses, lipsticks, mascaras, foundations, etc.
I purchased a couple items to test out the line and wanted to share them with you. Keep reading for lipgloss in Baby's Breath and nail polish in Gorgeous Gerbera.

So I was able to finally get my hands on this collection in stores. It was not for sale yet, but they allowed us to test it out and place orders. I know MAC online already started selling items at 2:30pm -ish PST today (jan 30th 2013), but I wasn't able to get to the store till after work. So, I swatched some of the items that I was interested in and decided to post it up in case you wanted more swatches before making your purchase. I personally really like Archie comics and this collection really speaks to me. Swatches are below, but note they are not complete.
The collection is separated into different stands: Betty's, Veronica's (not shown in this picture), and Archie's Girls. Online, they also have an Accessories category.
Dior came out with their spring 2013 collection and it is filled with very pretty bows. The Cherie Bow collection consists of very feminine and cute products. It has Dior's eyeshadow quads, blush, some nail polishes, and twin sets. I am only going to review the blush today. I have been trying to pick up Tutu nail polish, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I will update this post as soon as I do! In the time being, I will review Pink Happiness blush!
BB creams have been taking over the cosmetic/skincare world and I have already tried a few of them despite the fact that I don't really enjoy liquid foundation textures. Recently, I stumbled across the Physicians Formula BB cream collection, which consists of a creamy concealer, liquid foundation, and a powder. I was instantly drawn to the powder since that is the type of formula that I prefer. I am very glad they finally have it in that form! See below for my review!
It is getting closer to Valentine's Day and I found myself gravitating towards the Physicians Formula Happy Booster bronzers and blushes. Why? Well, it could be that there is a major sale at CVS for all PF makeup (40% off!) or that the cute heart designs are just calling to me. You know...those little hearts in each of the bronzer or blush compacts. These claim to have mood boosting effects... I can't quite understand how that works, but I know that the cuteness in each of these little color trinkets makes my heart flutter.
Strolling in Target the other day, I noticed a brand new endcap that contained a lot of fun looking lippies. I picked a couple up to see and thought I might like it. Appearance-wise, they look sleek and very similar to the Revlon Lip Butters and L'Oreal Caresse Shines. I thought I'd give it a try. I picked up two colors: Coral Ambition and Pink Possibilities!
